GoHighLevel specialist vs separate hires: cost calculator

Running HighLevel well takes several skills. Pick the roles you need, adjust hours and rates, and compare one specialist who covers them all with hiring a separate person for each.

The specialist rate is our standard rate; separate-hire rates are editable examples, not quotes. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.

How the calculation works

  • Separate hires = for each role, the larger of its hours or the minimum billable hours, multiplied by that role’s rate; plus your coordination time for each person.
  • One specialist = the total hours of all selected roles at the specialist’s rate; plus coordination time for one person.
  • It doesn’t model quality, speed or handoff errors between people, which often matter more than the hourly rate. Use it to frame the decision, then compare written scopes.

Questions

Is one GoHighLevel specialist always cheaper than separate hires?

No. Separate specialists can be cheaper when you only need one or two roles, or when most of the work is routine admin a general VA can do at a lower rate. One specialist tends to win when you need several HighLevel skills in small amounts each, because you avoid minimum engagements and the time spent coordinating several people.

Where do the default rates come from?

The separate-hire rates are example figures within the wide range advertised for HighLevel freelancers, from very low hourly rates on marketplaces to well over $100 an hour for senior specialists. Replace them with the quotes you actually receive; the calculator is only as accurate as the numbers you enter.

Why include my own time?

Every extra person needs briefs, access, check-ins and handoffs between them. That time is real cost even though no invoice shows it. Set it to zero if you would rather compare fees only.

What does a GoHighLevel specialist usually cover?

Most of the account: CRM structure, workflows, calendars, funnels and forms, email and SMS, integrations, A2P registration and troubleshooting. Highly specialised work such as custom code or large ad budgets may still need a dedicated expert.
