A2P 10DLC readiness checker

Twelve questions, two minutes. Find out which gaps are most likely to get your A2P brand or campaign rejected, before you submit (or resubmit) in HighLevel.

Nothing you enter leaves your browser. This is guidance, not legal advice, and it cannot predict carrier decisions.

Business details

Does the legal business name you will submit exactly match your tax registration (including “LLC”, “Inc.” etc.)?

How to fix this

Copy the legal name from your EIN confirmation letter or official registration. Use your trading name only where a brand/DBA name is requested.

Do you have the correct tax ID (EIN for US businesses) and the address on file with the tax authority?

How to fix this

Locate your EIN documents. If you do not have an EIN, you will likely need the sole proprietor brand type, which has lower limits.

Will you use a business email address on your own domain (not a free webmail address) for the registration contact?

How to fix this

Use an email on your business domain. It strengthens the link between the brand and the website.

Website

Is your website live, publicly accessible and clearly about the business you are registering?

How to fix this

Publish a real website with your business name, what you do and contact details. Avoid “coming soon” pages, password protection and link-in-bio pages.

Is there a privacy policy linked from your website footer?

How to fix this

Publish a privacy policy and link it in the footer of every page.

Does your privacy policy state that mobile numbers / SMS consent are not shared with third parties for marketing?

How to fix this

Add a clear statement that mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. Have it reviewed by a qualified advisor.

Do you have a terms page that covers your SMS program (frequency, rates, HELP/STOP)?

How to fix this

Add SMS program terms: what messages people receive, frequency, “Msg & data rates may apply”, and how to get help or opt out.

Consent

Does every form that collects phone numbers for texting show SMS consent language?

How to fix this

Add consent text near the phone field or submit button: brand name, message purpose, frequency, rates, HELP/STOP and links to privacy and terms.

For marketing texts, do people actively opt in (e.g. an unchecked consent checkbox) rather than consent being assumed?

How to fix this

Use an unchecked, optional checkbox for marketing SMS consent so consent is explicit and recorded.

Campaign

Do you know which use case honestly matches every message you plan to send (e.g. customer care, marketing, mixed)?

How to fix this

List the messages you will actually send, then choose the use case that covers all of them. Mismatches are a common rejection reason.

Do your sample messages include your brand name and opt-out instructions, and match your campaign description?

How to fix this

Write 2–3 realistic samples starting with your brand name, ending with “Reply STOP to opt out”, matching the described use case.

Can you describe exactly where and how people opt in (form URL, checkbox wording, keyword)?

How to fix this

Write the opt-in flow step by step, including the page URL and the exact consent wording, and reference it in the campaign.
